Prevention and early intervention are the optimum approach to anti-aging skin maintenance. Much of the anti-aging work currently undertaken is to repair skin damaged by neglect and exposure to damaging external factors such as strong sunlight and pollution.
There are now constant reminders in the press informing us how best to approach anti-aging skin maintenance and habits have changed dramatically. However, when living an active life it is virtually impossible to avoid all extrinsic damage to our skin, which is why Cambridge Stratum have introduced a range of early intervention low impact maintenance treatments, designed to slow the effects of aging rather than repair extensive damage. They are therefore gentle treatments with no downtime and generally quite pleasant.
Stratum Synergy
The Stratum Synergy contains four technologies and up to 8 phases of treatment that can be personalised to each individual as required to , deep cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate, oxygenate, nourish, tighten the skin, remove and kill bacteria on the skin.
DermaDeep
DermaDeep led light therapy can kill acne bacteria and improve the ability of skin cells to repair and regenerate resulting in healthier skin. The inclusion of infrared light enables these benefits to reach deeper and aid wound repair.
BBL
Dr Patrick Bitter of Stamford University Medical School conducted a long term (approximately 10 years) study into the long term effects of BBL also known as IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and discovered that regular use had a very significant anti aging effect. Within the Cambridge Stratum ranges there are several machines that can provide BBL treatment.
