Cambridge Stratum currently have two approaches to body sculpting, contouring and defining:
Mono polar radio frequency
Is an inexpensive additional function in the Stratum 8. The cooled head enhances the comfort and effectiveness of this method. However, it has two draw backs. The operator needs to keep the head moving constantly, which makes it rather labour intensive. Scar tissue such as an appendix scar or C section scar will tend to be more sensitive.
SkinTyte
SkinTyte high intensity focused ultrasound is a useful tool for treating small to modest volumes of fat and has the advantage that it also produces long term skin tightening, reducing laxity and improving definition. It is well suited to smaller areas such as the submental and mummy tummy which has a small volume of stubborn fat accompanied by skin laxity post pregnancy.
