STRATUM REVEAL

Stratum Reveal is an innovative body contouring laser system. This non-invasive body contouring laser system is used to eliminate fat cells in the selected area. It is a reliable and robust system equipped with four individually controlled applicators, allowing simultaneous treatment in more than one body area.

The 1060nm wavelength lasers target the fat cells below the dermis while the 40x80mm sapphire heads deliver contact cooling to ensure the patient is always comfortable. Individual control of each head enables disparate areas to be treated simultaneously.

The sophisticated software allows for two types of use, smart mode which greatly simplifies operation and reduces the chance of errors, or professional mode for a more tailored treatment.

With minimal downtime and a treatment time of 25 minutes per cycle the Stratum Reveal body contouring laser system is a must have, for any clinic that is looking to offer their patients effective body contouring. Patients may start to see results as early as 6 weeks following treatment, as the body begins to remove the destroyed fat cells, with optimal results usually seen at 8-12 weeks.

Each applicator head is equipped with 2 temperature sensors and 4 contact sensors to allow the machine to monitor and control the output to ensure patient safety and comfort.

HOW DOES THE STRATUM REVEAL 1060NM DIODE LASER WORK?

Target –

The Stratum Reveal uses light at a wavelength of 1060nm (infrared) to breakdown the fat in the target area. It can do this without surgery or downtime. Typically each treatment can eliminate up to 24% of the fat in the target area without any harm to the skin or other tissue.

Disrupt –

Each treatment applicator consists of a cooled sapphire window through which the laser tight shines. The epidermis, and basal layer are cooled to typically 15C to maintain patient comfort, while the infrared laser light passes through the skin and heats the fat cells below. This heating disrupts the cell membrane of the fat cells without harming other tissue.

The fat within the cells is then released into the intercellular space where it can be preferentially utilized for energy or redistributed. The remainder of the cell material is removed and digested by the body.

Eliminate –

The result is that over a period of 6 to 12 weeks the amount of fat in the target area is significantly reduced. Futher treatments can be done at intervals of typically 6 weeks.
